Position: AIX Admin
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration : 8 + months

 

Must-Have Skills:

Experience with AIX 5.3 or above on Power5/6 architecture
Experience with AIX network Installation Management (NIM)
Experience with AIX performance tuning and capacity planning

 

Other skills:

Experience with high availability architectures and concepts (possibly including, but not limited to, HACMP)
Experience with enterprise backup/restore architectures and concepts
Experience managing SAN-attached storage in an AIX environment
Experience with disaster recovery planning, implementation, and execution
Project management experience
Experience mentoring other administrators
Experience writing and debugging shell scripts
Experience with an enterprise-class monitoring tool          
Technical experience with AIX 6.1 and IBM Blade Center platform is desirable
