Business Systems Analyst/ Oracle CRM Apps - Quote to Order

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Public Sector Business Systems Analyst meets with business end users to determine priorities and develop detailed business cases and high-quality business requirements. The Business Systems Analyst also plans and directs analysis of complex business problems to be solved with sophisticated automated systems. They also develop, write, and edit computer-related technical and business documentation. The Analyst will command meetings and coordinate peers to accomplish project objectives and resolve problems. The Analyst is a self starter and self sufficient requiring minimal supervision of day to day issue tracking and resolution. The ideal Business Systems Analyst will posses a unique blend of technical, business, and people skills. This individual provides business systems analysis and support for a multitude of applications used by Business Units and Administrative functions across the Sales organization. The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role as subject matter expert and technical consultant throughout the lifecycle of their assigned applications. The Business Systems Analyst is seen as an expert in his or her field always driving for innovative cost effective solutions to solve complex business process issues.
- Responsible for direct interaction with business end users for the creation of detailed business cases and high-quality business requirement documentation.
- Build strong relationships with the Business Technology Group (BTG) to understand business challenges and collaborate on possible solutions.
- Accurately translates Business Requirements into Functional Design Documents.
- Provide strategic technical insight with respect to the Quote to Order systems and shares expertise on concerns with integrating with other current systems.
- Interacts closely with the development team on the translation of functional designs into technical designs and deliverables.
- Interacts closely with Testing Center of Excellence to review test scripts and ensure accurate and complete testing coverage.
- Provides functional oversight for the delivery of Public Sector initiatives in the Quote to Order space.
Required Skills
- 5 - 7 years overall experience; 3 with Oracle Applications
- Extensive experience interpreting business end user needs and writing detailed business cases and high-quality business requirement documentation.
- Extensive experience writing functional specifications for new systems, systems changes and/or system enhancements.
- Can quickly learn the functionality of packaged applications and understand how to implement and configure them to meet complex business requirements.
- Solid functional understanding of the Quote to Order business processes.
- Appropriate understanding of the Oracle CRM architecture.
- Technical or functional experience with Oracle CRM Applications including at least one of HTML Quoting, iStore, or Advanced Pricing.
