This resource must have a strong security background and the ability to apply that knowledge to new technologies. The result of this engagement is to build a set of technical controls for the Middle Tier technologies and implement on existing UAT and Production platforms. The Middle Tier products include BizTalk 2006, Oracle WebLogic Portal, Oracle AquaLogic Service Bus (ALSB), SharePoint 2007, Metastorm BPM, Adobe LiveCycle, and Oracle Universal Content Management. There are also a number of custom web services running in IIS.
The resource will handle creation of technical controls, present and gain approval internal Information Security department, translate technical controls to checklists to be followed for implementation, implant checklists on existing systems, and document any deviations to the controls that are found during implementation.
This candidate require strong people and time management skills to be able to ensure prompt delivery of necessary artifacts on a tight schedule. The ability to perform a security review on potentially unfamiliar software while maintaining a thorough and well documented implementation plan will be essential.
There is potential for expertise to be found in combination of two project resources where one resource has a strong security background and the other has a more technical background.
For technical resource - Minimum requirement is to have strong experience in at least one (1) of the vendor technologies listed above in addition to basic IIS experience.
